Bosaretho Music Distribution ("Bosaretho", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website bosarethomusic.store. We provide digital music distribution services for Nigerian and African artistes, enabling them to deliver their music to 150+ streaming platforms worldwide via LabelGrid.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.

2 Information We Collect

When you use Bosaretho Music Distribution, we collect the following information:

Personal Information: Full name, email address, phone number, artist/stage name, genre, and state of residence — collected at checkout
Payment Information: Processed entirely and securely by Paystack — we do not store your card or bank details on our servers
Music Content: Audio files, cover artwork, song metadata (titles, credits, genres, release dates, lyrics) uploaded via LabelGrid
Transaction Records: Payment reference numbers, package purchased, and date of purchase
Usage Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on site (collected via standard web analytics)
Communication Data: Emails, WhatsApp messages, and support interactions you send to us
Referral Source: How you heard about us (optional, collected at checkout)

3 How We Use Your Information

We use your information only for the following purposes:

To set up your artist account and send your LabelGrid invite after payment
To distribute your music to 150+ streaming platforms and digital stores via LabelGrid
To process your payment and issue a Paystack receipt to your email
To collect and report royalties earned from your releases
To process royalty payouts to your Nigerian bank account via Paystack
To communicate with you about your releases, account status, and platform updates
To provide WhatsApp and email customer support
To improve our platform and services based on usage patterns
To comply with legal and regulatory obligations under Nigerian law

We will never use your information for unsolicited marketing from third parties or sell it to advertisers.

4 Information Sharing

We share your information only with the following parties, and only as necessary to provide our services:

Paystack	Our payment processor — handles all payment transactions and royalty payouts securely (PCI-DSS compliant)
Streaming DSPs	Spotify, Apple Music, Audiomack, Boomplay and 150+ platforms receive your music and artist metadata to make your releases publicly available
Hostinger	Our web hosting provider stores website and form data

We never sell your personal information to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. We do not share your data with any party beyond what is listed above.

5 Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted via bosarethomusic.store
Secure payment processing through Paystack (PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant)
Access controls — only authorised Bosaretho team members can access your data
No storage of card or bank account details on our servers

If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records.

9 WhatsApp Communications

We use WhatsApp as a primary support and communication channel. When you message us on WhatsApp, your name and phone number are visible to us as registered in your WhatsApp account. These communications are used solely to assist you with your account or releases.

We do not send unsolicited WhatsApp messages. You may ask us to stop contacting you via WhatsApp at any time and we will respect that request.

10 Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes their child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at hello@bosarethomusic.store and we will delete it promptly.
